Our Mission
The presence of ROYAL SCHOOL OF TRADE SKILLS is to provide varying Trade skills development training for the educationally deprived and unemployed youth in Ghana.
Reflections on the many but underutilized human resource and potential in Ghana is a worry that deserves an intervention like or that which falls in line with our mission.
Trade Skills development training for careers in technical and practical fields help countries reach their National Development goal of decent employment, as well as helps develop the skills necessary to create a capable workforce to support national growth. It equips students practical experience and technical skills in a specific type of field. It prepares leaners for jobs in manual and practical activities enabling them to develop an expertise in specific trade areas, crafts and careers. It provides businesses with skilled workers that can help them grow. It helps communities develop stronger economies. It often transform a nation.
We are present not to only help unemployed and educationally deprived ones but also casually employed in jobs that have no future. These people can also retrain for something better. Our training can be a stepping stone to future learning and path to an even better job and career.

What RSTS is today could not have become a reality without the support of SARA LAFRANCE and LEONARD LAFRANCE. Indeed, and it must be said that they are a heaven-sent by whose support RSTS has become what it is.
SARA and LEONARD are founders of Educational Pathways International (EPI), a scholarship program in Ghana. A full scholarship to the benefit of the brightest but financially deprived tertiary students in the three (3) best universities in Ghana.

EMANATION STORY
As a result of an opportunity to participate in the Mandela Washington Fellowship in the United States of America, I was inspired by the exposure of various fascinating and incredible activities of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem, UNR and other organizations in Reno, Nevada. The story of the biggest little city from the days of devastating economic recession when all hope was almost lost but for resilience, strategy and a combination of positive synergy, the gradual evolution and amazing transformation into what it is today, has been and continues to be a huge source of inspiration for me to cause the change I dream of for my country.
Indeed, it is the wish of every single human to have a better life and so I believe that lifestyles that seem to contradict the best or better everyone would wish for, do come about as a result of least or no opportunity for a better one. Hence, the WHY and our VISION that has caused our emanation.
